1991 Laurea in Medicina e Chirurgia e nel 1996 Specializzazione in Gastroenterologia ed Endoscopia Digestiva presso l’Università di Roma “La Sapienza”; 2001 Titolo di Dottore di Ricerca in “Metodologie in Medicina Preventiva e Terapia presso l’Università di Roma “Tor Vergata”. 2002 Vincitore di Concorso Pubblico per Ricercatore Universitario (MED 12) presso l’Universita’ di Roma “Tor Vergata”. 2006 Conferimento del titolo di Professore Aggregato in Gastroenterologia da parte dell’Università di Roma “Tor Vergata”.

Attività clinica, didattica e di ricerca: Epatologia con particolare riferimento al trapianto di Fegato, Endoscopia Digestiva Diagnostica ed operativa, Fisiopatologia dell’epitelio biliare. Autore e coautore di vari contributi scientifici fra lavori in esteso su riviste nazionali, internazionali e comunicazioni a Congresso (total IF @ 250, H-index 20). Ad hoc reviewer per riviste internazionali (European Journal Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Hepatology, Journal of Infection, Transplant International, Liver International, Digestive and Liver Disease, Alimentary Pharmacology and Therapeutics). Dal 2002 svolge attività didattica continuativa, nell’ ambito della Gastroenterologia, rivolta ad infermieri, studenti di Medicina , Specializzandi e Dottorandi di Ricerca.
